Betty Ouyang

Born in New York City, Betty had an early passion for travel and learning foreign languages (she's studied French, Russian and Czech in addition to speaking some Mandarin). While an undergrad at Columbia University (Barnard College), Betty worked briefly as an on-air news reporter for WKCR-FM radio before completely turning her love and focus toward acting.

In addition to acting in a number of stage, film and commercial projects, Betty's voice is prominently featured in the record-breaking hit video game "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas".

In 2008, Betty co-starred in the role of 'Li Wei' in the critically acclaimed feature "Frozen River", which went on to win the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival (2008) and garnered two Academy Award nominations (2009).

Betty is a huge lover and supporter of independent film, and is inspired by the early works of Pedro Almodovar, Woody Allen and Todd Solondz.
